The next Wallington Farmers Market will be held on August 14th at the Old Town Hall and Library Gardens, Wallington from 9am to 1pm.

The next Sutton Farmers' Market will be held on 28th August from 9.30am to 1.30pm at the Town Square and Millenium Gardens, Sutton High Street, SM1 1DU (outside Waterstone's).

At both markets you will find the Traditional Cheese Dairy bringing an award winning cheese range made from unpasteurised cows and ewews milk as well as the freshest and tastiest food direct from local producers. Enjoy good food, get value for money and do your bit to help save the planet.

Get Cycling! ia an exciting project giving adults the chance to enjoy cycling at their own pace. If you have never ridden, not cycled for some time or just lack confidence,our friendly instructors will help you find a bike and help on off-road routes. You can go at your own pace and sessions are on a pay as you go basis so there is no commitment and no need to book.

Come along to the Beanstalk Muck and Magic Family Food Growing Day.

It will be held on Monday 9th August from 10.30 to 12.00 noon at Westmead Allotments with another session from 1.30 to 3.00 pm at Sutton Community Farm. As with all of the Beanstalk sessions, it is suitable for allages (but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult) and the first is FREE with a small charge for subsequent sessions.

The Environmental Fair at Carshalton - the bigeest and best local festival - returns on Bank Holiday Monday, August 30th. It runs from 10.30 am to 8.00 pm and there will be three performance stages, over 100 stalls, a kids fun zone and a huge variety of food and drink outlets as well as a free bus service taking people to and from the Fair to all parts of the biorough.

The Fair is held in Carshalton Park, Ruskin Road, Carshalton and entrance is £4 for adults, £2 for 12 - 16 year olds and concessions with under 12s free.
