Mobile Solar Power & Carbon Display

EcoLocal's mobile solar power station is capable of powering smaller stages and sound systems for periods of up to 7 hours (approx 12,000 amp hrs per day).

The power station can also be provided with an interactive display which features tips on how to live locally and reduce your carbon footprint.

The display includes:

- the living locally quiz, which can also be used as a basis for carrying out local questionnaires and research into people's opinions on travel schemes and other plans

- a bicycle powered generator game, where participants see how many watts of power they can generate from cycling a push bike. Scores are added to the 'What's what in watts' score-board. This is a very popular activity.

- video on reducing car use and the positive benefits of walking, cycling and catching the bus, plus a short presentation on the basics of climate change. The solar power system can be inspected and we also provide a solar water heating demonstration rig.

We are also able to provide other activities such as special bikes and trikes suitable for inclusive cycling and community events.
